Marcus Kraft: Money for Nothing

The project "Money for Nothing" is a new series of works by art director and designer Marcus Kraft. In it, he deals with the question of the value of money.

He "destroyed" exactly one hundred one-dollar bills through artistic interventions and thus made them unusable for daily payment transactions. Each bill was treated in a different way. According to the federal law of the United States, Kraft has made himself liable to prosecution with his interventions, and can be punished with up to 20 years in prison. The original works were exhibited in Zurich and Winterthur. Now an exclusive numbered and signed book is being published by Zurich's Hakuin publishing house. The first edition is limited to 300 copies.
