Ringier takes over marketing of S1

From 2016, the Swiss TV station S1 will no longer be marketed by Publicitas, but by Ringier TV. Ringier and S1 will ensure a smooth transition for all customers, according to the statement.

Ringier's TV marketing will look after the Swiss TV station S1 from 2016. This marks Ringier's first step into German-speaking Switzerland, in addition to marketing TF1, TMC and NT1. "We are very taken with the station and its development and are looking forward to the cooperation," says Daniel Gauchat, Head of TV Marketing at Ringier. To ensure continuity, Goce Nikoloski, previously responsible for S1 at Publicitas, will join Ringier, thus ensuring know-how transfer and continuity.

"Ringier has proven its marketing expertise in recent years with the French channels. We are delighted to have Ringier as a partner to continue our success story and ensure that everything works perfectly for the booking launch," enthuses Hardy Lussi, Managing Director of S1.

S1 went on air in October 2013 and has since been marketed by Publicitas (Werbewoche.ch reported).
