The House Agency creates Skoda Crazy Hockey League
Right on time for the start of the ice hockey season, the starting signal was given for the Skoda Crazy Hockey League Hockey.skoda.ch, which The House Agency designed and implemented for Skoda Switzerland.
With this initiative, the agency is drawing attention to Skoda's long-standing commitment to Swiss ice hockey. The company has been involved for many years, among other things, as a referee partner, partner of Swiss Ice Hockey and the traditional international tournament "Spengler Cup". The Skoda Crazy Hockey League will be a real attraction thanks to the crazy quiz questions for which a total of 18 Swiss field hockey players have been interviewed. Among them greats like NHL star Rapahel Diaz or NHL goalie Jonas Hiller.
The results are questions that reveal fun facts about the individual players: Which piece of equipment does Andres Ambühl find most uncomfortable? But real expert knowledge about Switzerland's favorite sport is also required when asked which player holds the record for playing for the Swiss national ice hockey team. Every week, participants in the Skoda Crazy Hockey League have to answer five questions within two minutes, the difficulty of which increases as the game progresses.
There are various prizes at stake. The champion wins a trip to Canada, the motherland of ice hockey, worth 5'000 Swiss francs. The runner-up will win a trip worth 1'500 Swiss francs to Prague, the venue of the 2015 Ice Hockey World Championship. Every week there are also great surprise prizes related to ice hockey. The Skoda Crazy Hockey League runs parallel to the ice hockey season in several phases: In the "training camp" from September 9 to November 3, players can test their knowledge and collect additional points via social media, which will count as starting credits in the "main round" from November 4 to April 13.
From December 26 to December 31, the "Spengler Cup" will not only be played in Davos, but also at the Skoda Crazy Hockey League. For two weeks, the quiz questions revolve around the traditional tournament. And when the National League enters the hot phase in February, the "playoffs" will also start at the Crazy Hockey League with even trickier questions.
