German Design Award: Branders successful

For the rebranding of Thurgauer Kantonalbank, the Swiss agency Branders is awarded the "Special Mention" for special design quality in the Communication Tools category.

Back in May of this year, Branders was nominated in the Communication Tools category for the rebranding of Thurgauer Kantonalbank. As the leading universal bank in the canton of Thurgau, the rebranding is intended to make TKB focus more than ever on customer orientation and the advisory experience in its activities in the future. This goal is reflected in the new claim "Mehr vom Leben" ("More of life") and is made tangible at all contact points in the brand design.

The German Design Award is the international design premium prize of the German Design Council. It honors high-caliber products and projects from the fields of product and communication design, design personalities and up-and-coming designers, all of whom are pioneers in their own way in the German and international design landscape. Judging is based on various criteria such as design quality, degree of innovation, brand value or functionality. The German Design Award competition categories cover all areas of everyday life, from Home Interior and Working Spaces to Transportation and Digital Media.

For the special design quality of the TKB rebranding, the German Design Council awards the Zurich branding agency the "Special Mention" award. This award recognizes work whose design features particularly successful partial aspects or solutions - a promotional prize that honors the commitment of companies and designers.
