Branders: Online presence for Post staff newspaper

Following the redesign of the print edition, Branders, a consulting firm specializing in branding, also supported Swiss Post in the conception and realization of the online edition of the staff newspaper.

Swiss Post now also publishes its staff newspaper as a classic online version and as a user-friendly mobile version for smartphones. The electronic editions rely on a clear topic structure, references to related articles, image galleries, and dialog options. The layout, which is based on the print version, is characterized by a distinctive typeface, the generous use of images and illustrations, and the targeted use of postal yellow. A clear design language and plenty of white space are intended to produce an airy and modern editorial design that encourages reading.

The realization of the staff newspaper for all channels - print and online - is now taking place simultaneously via an electronic editorial system. Swiss Post is thus taking on a pioneering role in the area of multi-channel publishing in Switzerland, according to a statement from the agency.
