Change of boss at Globetrotter

Dany Gehrig will become the new head of travel provider Globetrotter Travel Service on January 1, 2013. The current Head of Marketing replaces André Lüthi. Lüthi will replace Walter Kamm as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Kamm will remain on the board of directors, Globetrotter announced on Tuesday. The new group CEO joined the individual travel provider two years ago. Previously, he worked at the Olympic association Swiss Olympic. Globetrotter Travel Service has 26 offices and 240 employees.

In the future, Lüthi intends to devote himself to his various board mandates in addition to his chairmanship of the supervisory board. The Group comprises eight companies and generated sales of CHF 230 million in 2011 with 400 employees.

Globetrotter further announced that the company is doing well in the current fiscal year and is aiming for a new sales record. (SDA)
