Swissprinters hands over direct marketing activities to Elco

Elco is taking over several facilities for the production of personalized mailings and seven employees from Swissprinters, effective January 1, 2012. The agreement includes the takeover of various Swissprinters' lettershop equipment by Elco, including the current software and license agreements.

Swissprinters, which announced in June that it would discontinue part of its manufacturing operations at the end of 2011, is thus assuring its customers that it will continue to provide all of its previous direct marketing services. Swissprinters wrote this in a statement on Wednesday. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The Brugg-based company will also take on seven Swissprinters employees who are responsible for operating the equipment.
