Migipedia: Migros draws positive interim balance

Migros launched the Migipedia customer platform just under a year ago. Since then, the company has received tens of thousands of comments with praise, criticism, suggestions and requests. The loudest during this time was the call for the M-Budget Wave Chips.

The chips had disappeared from Migros shelves in 2009. According to the press release, this triggered more than 300 comments on Migipedia. And the comments have been heard. As of May 19, the chips will be back in all stores. Vanilla Coke, which was requested by 35,000 Facebook fans, has also recently been added to the range. In addition, two new jams, "Strawberry Mouth" and "Autumn Sin," will hit the Migros shelves at the beginning of September, having been developed with Migros customers from the idea to the decision. The Swiss retailer is thus consistently continuing the path it has taken with its social media presence on Migipedia, Facebook and Twitter, the statement continues.

It is also important for Migros to optimize existing products on an ongoing basis and to listen to customers' opinions regarding adjustments. For example, the adaptation of the M-Budget household paper was not perceived as positive by the Migros community and led to Migipedia led to corresponding feedback. M-Budget household paper will be back on the Migros shelves in the same quality as before in the course of June.
