An important innovation is the eBilan section: on 16 to 32 pages, the monthly magazine covers the topics of the Internet, e-business and IT, with a focus on French-speaking Switzerland.
Golden Ear awards radio spots For the third time after 1998 and 1999, the Golden Ear is now once again looking for the best Swiss radio spots. The deadline for entries is May 29, 2000. Fourteen jurors from advertising, radio and TV will judge the submitted spots. The Golden Ear Night and awards ceremony will take place on June 28 at Miller's Studio in Zurich. The "Radio Advertiser of the Year" will also be awarded on the same evening. The award honors a company that has rendered outstanding services to the medium of radio in some way over the past twelve months.
Shares research.ch from November
The Handelszeitung publishing group has set the launch date for the new Swiss investor magazine Aktien research.ch for the beginning of November. The editorial and marketing teams are currently being set up at full speed. Asaf Musti, who had already managed various magazines of the publishing group, has been recruited as advertising sales manager. Aktien research was first published by parent publisher Axel Springer on April 13. Although cooperation is planned, the Swiss version is to differ from the German model in terms of content and graphics.
Tele Top on the upswing Tele Top, the local television station in eastern Switzerland, is raising its profile: in February, the average daily reach was still a meager 27500 people. By the beginning of April, however, this figure had already risen to 44300 viewers per day. Following the recently approved expansion of the license area, the areas of St.Gallen, Rorschach and Appenzell have now been added. The station's technical reach thus rises to over one million people.
