Pia de Carli becomes media spokesperson for B2C at Google Switzerland
In December 2021, Pia De Carli had announced that she would be moving to Corporate Communications at Google. At the beginning of 2022, she will take on the role of media spokesperson for the B2C area at Google Switzerland in Zurich.
Pia De Carli brings around ten years of experience in the communications industry. Before joining Google, she was responsible for external communications at Samsung Switzerland for five years. At the beginning of December 2021, De Carli announced that she would be moving from Samsung to Google. (Werbewoche.ch reported). Before Samsung, she worked in communications and campaigns at the Economiesuisse business association. She holds an MAS in Business Communications from the Zurich School of Economics.
Corporate Communications at Google Switzerland will be headed by Samuel Leiser, who has been responsible for B2B communications at Google in Switzerland and Austria for over ten years.
"With Pia De Carli, we are gaining an experienced and creative colleague who knows and masters both the Swiss media landscape and all national languages very well. I am very much looking forward to working with her and strengthening our growing Zurich office," Leiser was quoted as saying in the statement.
Google Switzerland now employs over 4,500 people at its Hürlimann Areal and Europaallee sites in Zurich.
