Ever since Apple and Facebook started using augmented reality, technological development has been moving forward at a rapid pace. But there's also a lot happening in virtual reality at the moment. "Here we see that companies are using the technology more and more for educational purposes" says Jonas Baer, Co-Founder at Bandara. "Due to the increasing demand, it was a logical step for Bandara to strengthen ourselves in terms of development. With Daniel Gonçalves, we have found the perfect candidate."

Gonçalves holds a bachelor's degree in software engineering and a master's degree in game design. Before joining Bandara, he worked at Dreipol as a game developer and at ZHdK as a technical assistant and mentor, among others.

"Daniel Gonçalves initially worked for us as a freelancer. He convinced us so much that we absolutely wanted him to join Bandara," says co-founder Urs Langenegger.

Bandara looks back on a successful year: In 2017, the company implemented VR and AR projects for customers such as Migros, Swisscom, Geberit, SRF and the city of Zurich. "We also got off to a good start this year," says co-founder Daniel Gremli. "Currently, for example, we are working on two augmented reality apps for smartphones and on several VR projects. Daniel Gonçalves has therefore been fully engaged from his very first day."
