The Golden Chef in the new TV format on Blick.tv

The well-known cooking event becomes a TV show in a time-shifted hybrid format. This is also a reaction to new circumstances that many corporate customers and event planners encountered during the pandemic at the latest.

In the live cooking event "Der Goldene Koch" by organizer Kadi, eight top chefs from Switzerland compete against each other and do it in 2023 as a TV show in a time-delayed hybrid format: recording with live audience in January, time-delayed broadcast on Blick TV from April. F/E is responsible for the conception of the event, directs and produces the ten semi-final episodes now being broadcast and the live finale in June.

Larger target group, more excitement

The hybrid event is intended to reach a larger target group and generate excitement and interest. However, it is also a reaction to new realities that many corporate clients and event planners encountered during the pandemic at the latest. "Our agile environment forces us to think and act faster," confirms Sarah Hunziker, marketing manager at Kadi and strategic director Golden Chef. That's why F/E rethinks every event project holistically and looks for the optimal radiance for the future in immersive formats.

The existing hybrid format will be further developed, with the focus remaining on the culinary art and craft of top chefs - but with channel-specific staging, dramaturgy and cliffhangers to make it more entertaining and audience-pleasing than ever.
