Swiss Film Award 2023: National live broadcast on TV
The Swiss Film Awards ceremony will take place on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices in Geneva and will be broadcast live throughout Switzerland - on SRF Info, RTS 2 and RSI LA 2. Since 2016, this is the strongest live TV presence of the Swiss Film Awards.
SRF 2 film expert Michael Sennhauser provides live commentary on the show for SRF Info viewers at home. TV 5 Monde also broadcasts the highlights of the Swiss Film Awards around the world. Claire Mudry and Beren Tuna will be on hand to guide the evening as the coveted Quartz trophies are awarded - and the organizers have secured a bilingual duo to moderate the event.
The Swiss Film Prize has been awarded since 1998 and is a commitment of the Federal Office of Culture. The honor for Swiss filmmaking is realized by the Federal Office of Culture FOC with its partners SRG SSR and the Association "Quartz" Genève Zürich and organized in collaboration with Swiss Films, the Swiss Film Academy and the Solothurn Film Festival.
