Valérie Wacker becomes West Switzerland correspondent for Radio SRF
Valérie Wacker will be Radio SRF's new West Switzerland correspondent from summer 2022. She succeeds Barbara Colpi, who will report for Radio SRF from the USA.
After holding various positions in private media, Valérie Wacker joined SRF in 2011. Since 2015, she has worked in various roles for the Chief Audio Editor, most recently as producer, presenter and team leader of "Info 3", as well as host of "Einfach Politik". Valérie grew up bilingual and has worked in Nantes and Paris. She studied cultural journalism at the Zurich University of the Arts and journalism and communication at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur. Originally, she completed a commercial apprenticeship.
Valérie Wacker will move to Lausanne in the summer of 2022 and, together with Andreas Stüdli, will report from French-speaking Switzerland for Radio SRF's various outlets. About her new job, Valérie Wacker says: "I'm very much looking forward to bringing francophone Switzerland closer to our audience."
