New record: Up to 1.9 million people watched Nati match on SRF zwei

Up to 1.9 million people from German-speaking Switzerland watched the 1:1 draw against five-time world champions Brazil live on SRF zwei. On average, 1,613,000 viewers tuned in to SRF zwei on Sunday evening. This figure is the highest average audience figure for an SRF program since the change in the measurement method in 2013 and corresponds to a market share of 66.4 percent (target group 3+, German-speaking Switzerland, overnight).

There was also great interest in the Swiss' World Cup opener on srf.ch/sport and in the SRF Sport app. The match achieved a total of 280,000 livestream starts in the SRF online media.
