Graubünden daily newspapers appeared on Tuesday with a new look

The two German-language daily newspapers in Graubünden, Südostschweiz and Bündner Tagblatt, were published on Tuesday for the first time with the majority of the same content and the same page sequence.

The Somedia media company in Chur announced this alignment in the spring. The newspapers differed only on the first three pages, which the Südostschweiz and the Bündner Tagblatt individually. Farewell took the Südostschweiz from the striking tiles in the layout. A traditional newspaper appearance characterizes the new front page.

Brought out again and prominently placed in the case of the Südostschweiz the former name Grisons Newspaper on the front page. In the Glarus edition, the title experiences Glarus News a revival.

Publisher Hanspeter Lebrument said in an interview in his own paper, "I have the feeling that we are currently saying goodbye to globalization and going back to localization." That's why the old titles would be shown again and the Südostschweiz managed as an umbrella brand. (SDA/hae)
