NZZ: Publishing Services, Printing and Electronic Media under New Management

The succession plan for Daniel Ettlinger, Head of Publishing Services and Printing at the NZZ Media Group, has been announced. As of February 1, 2018, electronic media will be managed by Jürg Weber. The management of NZZ Media Services will be taken over by Michael Fingerhuth on an interim basis and Multicolor Print will be led by Heinz Meyer.

At the beginning of February, Jürg Weber, Head of NZZ Regional Media, will take over direct responsibility for the electronic media. This includes radio and TV in Central and Eastern Switzerland, the publishing house announced on Friday. Jürg Weber has headed the regional media since 2014 and is a member of the NZZ Media Group's executive board. He has held various management positions with the company since 1997.

NZZ Media Services, which includes the newspaper printing plants in St. Gallen and Lucerne, central prepress and logistics for the NZZ Media Group, will be headed by Michael Fingerhuth on an interim basis from February. He has been Head of Marketing and Sales for the newspaper printing plants of the NZZ Media Group for six years.

Heinz Meyer, who has been with Multicolor Print for 10 years, is taking over its management with immediate effect. For many years, he managed the sales activities of the commercial printing company in Baar as Deputy General Manager. Since 2017, he has also been responsible for Multicolor Print's operational business activities as Co-Head.

Daniel Ettlinger, Head of Publishing Services, Print and Electronic Media, will leave the NZZ Media Group at the end of January to take up the position as CEO of Rheintal Medien.
