Praise for theme day and "rounds
The Audience Council praises the "SRF Menschmaschine" theme day and is pleased with the "Visite" request concert
SRF radio and television addressed the concept of "human machine" in several broadcast segments at the beginning of October. The audience council primarily watched the "Cybathlon" on October 8 with competitions, supplementary film reports, live reports and conversations. The innovations from research and the competitions of people with physical disabilities, who are capable of amazing feats thanks to the latest technology, fascinated the audience council, according to a statement. The audience councilors were also convinced by the insightful portraits of the pilots. A five-member SRF moderation team guided the audience through the day.
However, several council members wished for more critical questions and clearer follow-up in the interviews. In addition, the audience council felt that the topic could be explored in greater depth from a socio-political and ethical perspective and encourages SRF to follow up the prelude with further contributions in this area.

For years, SRF Musikwelle and Radio SRF 1 have been making "rounds" with their audience every Friday. For Radio SRF 1, however, the audience council has a suggestion: The one-hour cooperation with "Visite" on Friday afternoons is perceived as a foreign body on this station, and the concept should be reconsidered.
