Ole Højriis Kristensen new CEO of Trendsales

Trendsales Aps has appointed its Chief Technical Officer Ole Højriis Kristensen as new CEO with immediate effect. The Copenhagen-based company is Scandinavia's largest marketplace for secondhand fashion and is owned by Tamedia.

Ole Højriis Kristensen has been Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Trendsales since September 2015 and will continue to hold this position in addition to his new role as CEO. The Dane is characterized by in-depth knowledge of web and software development as well as many years of leadership experience.

Before joining Trendsales, Ole Højriis Kristensen was Associate Director at Saxo Bank and CEO of Vodafone Denmark (Zyb Aps). He is also the founder and developer of the Internet services startup Zyb.com, which was acquired by Vodafone in 2008. He has also worked as a software developer for various Danish companies in the online sector. The Board of Directors of Trendsales and the management of Tamedia are pleased that Ole Højriis Kristensen has accepted the role of CEO and wish him every success in his future endeavors. Trendsales was founded in Denmark in 2002 and is now the largest marketplace for secondhand fashion in Scandinavia. In 2014, the Swiss media group Tamedia acquired 88 percent of Trendsales ApS.
