Radio Basel: Kachelmann presents weather
Jörg Kachelmann presented weather forecasts again on Friday: The former TV weather presenter, who is currently on trial in Germany, presented the weekend weather on local station Radio Basel.
Urs Knapp, spokesman for Meteomedia, the weather service founded by Kachelmann, confirmed to the news agency SDA that there are plans for further presentations, according to Blick.ch. Kachelmann would not be able to present the weather every day, but it would be possible on Fridays.
Kachelmann has been on trial at Mannheim District Court since September on rape charges. His girlfriend of many years had accused the 52-year-old of threatening and raping her with a knife after an argument in February 2010. Kachelmann denies the crime.
