"We congratulate the minds behind this Marketing campaign to SuccessHowever, we distance ourselves from such actions," emphasizes Matthias In-Albon, Managing Director of Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad. There have already been guest inquiries as to whether such an action will also come to Gstaad. "We have decided against it, because we consider it questionable in terms of the impact on the entire winter sports market." Matthias In-Albon assumes that the action will also put other ski resorts under pressure, according to a message from Gstaad Marketing.

Staying true to your own values

As set out in the new tourism destination strategy, the focus will be on individual enjoyment and the experience of nature. "We will continue to focus on quality instead of mass," says Matthias In-Albon. "We charge the price that our ski area with all its advantages is worth".
