Cocktail syrup wins the Yes Media Award

The winning team of this year's Yes Media Awards has been announced: "Xirup" from the Lycée Blaise-Cendrars in la Chaux-de-Fonds won over the expert jury of Imaculix, Weischer.Cinema and Young Enterprise Switzerland (Yes) with their syrup.

For the tenth time in a row, ten teams participating in the Company Programme of the non-profit organization Yes were given the opportunity to present their independently founded mini-company to a jury from the media industry at the Yes Media Award on Monday.

The young people were able to prepare for the big pitch over the course of a school year - both as part of their business lessons and in their free time. Both ingenuity and technical expertise were required, as they had to create, produce and market their own products or services.

"I was impressed by the professionalism of the young people. They were all incredibly good. What is extremely important to me is the presentation. And Xirup seemed to me to be the most unanimous, authentic team," says jury member Daniel Bolliger, Creative Director & Motion Design at Imaculix.

The Xirup team also won this year's Yes Media Award. After the successful pitch, the winning team will only have a short breather, as they will be heading straight to the film set in the coming days to produce their cinema spot with Imaculix. This will be shown to the public for the first time on June 1, 2024 at the national final of the Company Program at Zurich Main Station and will then be broadcast in Swiss cinemas by Weischer.Cinema.

Together with Yes, Imaculix and Weischer.Cinema will award a prize to the mini-company that is best suited for commercial marketing in cinemas. The winning team's product will be advertised with a cinema spot in Switzerland.
