Kieser supports the Muscle Society at the Charity Run

For this year's Zurich New Year's Eve Run, Kieser and the Swiss Muscle Society are joining forces to raise awareness of muscle diseases. The strength training specialist will be on site in Zurich city center on December 10, 2023 - and will also have its own runners at the start.

Since 2016, the charity run "Run 4 Duchenne Boys" takes place. The aim of the run is to provide information about muscle diseases and living with a muscle disease. The proceeds from the charity run can be used to support and relieve those affected and their relatives in their everyday lives, for example by organizing camps for children and adults.

"In Switzerland, over 15,000 people are affected by a muscle disease. The Swiss Muscle Society strives for a future in which all people with muscle disease can live the best possible life - self-determined and on an equal footing. We are delighted to have found a strong partner at our side in Kieser, who is working with us to help people with muscle disease," says Martin Knoblauch, Managing Director of the Swiss Muscle Society.

As an expert in strength training and muscle building, Kieser considers it necessary to provide information about muscle diseases and help those affected. "Kieser has solutions for people with weak muscles and musculoskeletal pain. In the case of severe or even life-shortening muscle diseases, the training focuses on maintaining existing muscles with the aim of preserving stability, strength and mobility for as long as possible," explains Sabrina Mehri, CMO of Kieser. "As a partner of the Charity Run, we can support those affected and at the same time raise awareness of the importance of strength training. From the age of 25, all of us are affected by age-related muscle atrophy if we do nothing to prevent it."

The Kieser management will be running along with employees and customers on December 10. Interested parties can sponsor the Kieser runners. Sponsorships can also be made at the joint information stand at Bürkliplatz. There are also vouchers for Kieser to be won.
