Woehrle Pirola wins pitch for opening event for new streetcar connection

Woehrle Pirola came out on top in the pitch by the Zurich public transport company VBZ for the opening celebrations of the Hardbrücke streetcar link and the new Hardplatz.

The Zurich event and communications agency convinced VBZ with ideas that promise a varied opening weekend in December 2017 with various attractions, according to a press release. Woehrle Pirola developed a concept based on the existing VBZ claim "Cleverly networked". The idea of networking is thus reflected thematically and visually throughout - from the basic idea to the individual measures.

The opening of the new VBZ streetcar line 8 and the new Hardplatz square will be celebrated on the weekend of December 8-10, 2017. In addition to the closed celebrations for politicians, authorities, project partners and the media on Friday, 8 December, the people of Zurich can expect a varied program with various highlights for young and old on the new Hardplatz on Saturday, 9 December. The new streetcar connection will also be presented visually. "As a long-established Zurich agency, it is a particular pleasure for us to be able to realize this important event for VBZ," says Adriano Pirola, Managing Director of Woehrle Pirola.
