Monami makes Ochsner Sport play on Tiktok

Insights behind the scenes of sports, different types of athletes, classic situations from the store or themed partnerships: Ochsner Sport has been using Tiktok for a few weeks - and is supported by Monami.

Ochsner SportSeveral hundred thousand users have already watched the clips of the sporting goods retailer. In addition, the channel quickly gathered over 1,000 followers, exclusively through organic content.

"TikTok is the social media channel of the moment and gives us, as the largest sports retailer in Switzerland, the appropriate platform to convey sports, emotions and expertise combined with a pinch of humor to our community. Ochsner Sport especially doesn't want to miss the chance to get in touch with a younger target group," says Paddy Käser, Team Leader Content and Social Media about the latest platform.

Meanwhile, the Monami agency is responsible for the strategy and part of the implementation. For about two years, it has been responsible for several channels of clients such as Coop, Smile Insurance, RhB and Ceylor. In addition to Ochsner Sport, Kuoni, Ochsner Shoes, Bénédict Schools, tutti.ch and Orangina have recently joined the agency's broad TikTok portfolio. Only recently, Monami clients were in the top 3 ranks of a nationwide ranking of the most successful TikTok channels in terms of engagement rate.

"The best thing about it is that all that counts is the right content! On no other platform can you currently reach so many people with storytelling. Whether it's comedy or substance doesn't matter - it's the storytelling that counts! And this is definitely one of our favorite categories," says Eric Lucombo, project manager at Monami. And adds with a wink: "While the official motto of Ochsner Sport is 'Switzerland is our sports field', for us it's more 'TikTok is our playground'.
