Topics such as flight, asylum and migration are highly topical. It is therefore all the more important for the SFH as an umbrella organization to actively inform and at the same time sensitize readers. Refugee Aid offers a wide range of topics with articles, position papers, consultations and a large number of country reports. Visitors should nevertheless be able to find their way around quickly and identify the content they are looking for in a short time. Under this motto, the relaunch of the SFH website conceptualized.

Based on analyses and workshops, Cab worked with SFH in an iterative process to develop a set of specifications. From this, requirements were developed and refined to meet the functional scope and high quality demands. This was to be reflected in the design as well as experienced in the user experience of the user.

Nueva assisted in the design process

The sister company Nueva was brought in for the design. The design was focused on functionalities. A new concept should enable editors to categorize and link documents with their diverse subject areas - and thus simplify their overall work process. Info boxes and article teasers should ensure a better user experience.

Quick help through quick donation

A donation widget that enables spontaneous and secure transfer of donations of any amount and is easy to use should provide the provider with higher revenues. RaiseNow is well-known in Switzerland and is popular due to its reliability and flexibility.

From concept to go-live, the focus was always on usability. Usability was to be a high priority so that even occasional users would immediately feel comfortable and find their way around.

Special focus on mobile

The design was also preferably created for mobile devices. The content should be optimally displayed on every device and especially on small smartphones. The motto for the design itself was "less is more". It should be appealing and modern, but not too obtrusive or "spaced out". The new look fits perfectly with the new minimalist structure - it is fresh and not distracting, but emphasizes and tempts through unobtrusive animations to click on and read through.
