Stuiq scores a strike for Blue Cinema

Stuiq brings to life the five bowling pins Happy, Nerdy, Grumpy, Sporty and Dumb, which are to promote Blue Cinema's bowling offer in various cinema complexes in Switzerland in a striking and entertaining way.

The Zurich agency conceived the complete strategy for the bowling communication and also developed the visual character design for the animated and three-dimensional pin testimonials. The cinema operator relies on a full multitainment program in its large locations, which offers many other action-packed options in addition to blockbusters and the latest cinema films.

In Emmenbrücke near Lucerne, the new bowling alley opened at the beginning of October 2023. The big Swiss premiere of the five 3D pins also took place as part of this event. The dangerous bowling ball "Baddy" wants to make life hell for the pins. As an eye-catcher, the complete troupe forms an overall communication strategy that should increase visitor numbers at all locations in the future.

The pins are being used in a broad awareness campaign that is being played out primarily OOH, on digital channels and on social media. In addition, promotions with XXL figures of the characters took place to increase reach and awareness right from the start. The XXL bowling at Lucerne HB focused on the involvement of the general public and thus created a hands-on brand experience.

The personalized pins will also be used for cinematic storytelling. As a cinema and TV spot on the big screen as well as on all digital channels, the bowling pins are also used three-dimensionally and animated.
