Switzerland Tourism shows how winter works in the new campaign

Switzerland Tourism (ST) is launching its new international campaign for the 2023/2024 winter season, with the aim of bringing the Swiss winter closer to a younger generation in particular - with "How To" clips based on surfing behavior on the Internet.

In several video clips, which were conceived and produced in collaboration with the Bold agency, Marco Odermatt shows how best to enjoy winter in Switzerland. With attractive offers, guests are also invited to spend their winter vacations sustainably by train and public transport.

With climate change, winters are getting shorter, and guests' needs and preferences are changing - sometimes leaving future generations out on the slopes and in the snow. In response, ST is repositioning Switzerland for the 2023/2024 winter season as a fun winter destination for young people, especially those interested in more sustainable vacations.

Ski star Marco Odermatt as "winter coach

"How To" is probably one of the most used search commands on the net. In search of a solution to a problem, a "life hack," a guide, people ask on YouTube, Google & Co. Of course, this is especially true for the younger generations. To jump on this bandwagon and reach young communities and their forms of communication and interests, the Bold agency has developed such entertaining "how to" tutorials on Swiss winter activities together with ST.

In addition to tips for sustainable travel by train, fun on the slopes, après-ski or relaxation, these video clips offer above all a great deal of inspiration and turn all guests into winter vacation professionals. At www.MySwitzerland.com/howtowinter you will also find further recommendations on each of these topics, so that you can organize your Swiss winter vacations to suit your own taste.

"How to Winter" with a focus on social media

The campaign can be seen from today on social media Youtube, Tiktok and Instagram. For distribution, ST is supported by the experts at Sir Mary. In the neighboring countries of Germany, France, Italy and the Benelux countries, the "How to Winter" theme will also be accompanied by numerous other marketing measures.

Accompanying the how-to clips, content creators are invited to Switzerland to promote the Swiss winter with authentic storytelling videos. Of course, the content creators travel to Switzerland by train and integrate the product "ride&slide" into their stories.
