Littering, i.e. the throwing away of waste in public spaces, is a social phenomenon of our modern culture with high on-the-go consumption, increasing mobility and a lack of social control. The IGSU, the Swiss competence center against littering, actively campaigns against littering and for a clean Switzerland. With its current awareness campaign, the non-profit organization draws attention to the problem and promotes awareness of the proper handling of waste and recyclable materials.

In order to sensitize the Swiss population, and in particular motorists, against littering, the agency We are Era is realizing an Influencer TV spot and TopView with actress and Tiktok creator Jesina Amweg, as well as other Tiktok videos with Swiss Tiktok creators Timo Haucke and Alisha de Munk. In these videos, the typical types of littering are shown and a street survey asks about the possible reasons for carelessly throwing litter away into nature. The measures are complemented by DAB radio display advertising in cars. The awareness campaign against littering starts with the TopView on Tiktok and the Influencer TV spot on Swiss TV on SRF 1 and SRF zwei.
