Galaxus shows what vacations in France are really like

Online retailer Galaxus is kicking off the coming summer with four new TV commercials. This time, the victims include a fictitious cream cheese and clichéd German-French vacation romance.

Butterflies in a lavender field, a charming French woman, and a German family having brunch at their vacation home in Provence: these are the typical ingredients of the latest Galaxus movies. But as already familiar from Galaxus on TV, real life strikes once again.

Thus, the idyllic breakfast is once abruptly ended by the hostel mother and the cleaning crew. Another time, the family discusses language barriers instead of giving first aid to the young French woman who has fallen off her bike. In another version, the grandmother is upset about the grandfather's bad breath. And in the last spot, German hardcore techno of all things suddenly destroys the supposedly peaceful vacation idyll.

All three films can be seen both online and on social media in one long version each, as well as on television in three shorter versions since Monday and through mid-June.
