EasyJet launches Europe-wide campaign and starts it in Switzerland

EasyJet's new pan-European multimedia campaign brings the joy of flying to life and encourages viewers to dream about their next travel adventures. The pan-European brand campaign was the first to be launched in Switzerland.

The TV commercial with the slogan "Come on a journey with us" shows an airplane piloted by EasyJet pilot Diana Gomes da Silva and subsequently immerses the viewer above the clouds in a passenger's travel dream. The video ends with a sunset over a landscape in Europe and EasyJet's invitation to come along on a journey.

Switzerland is the first market across Europe where the campaign was launched on September 1, 2018 - with TV spots, online and out-of-home advertising, and the support of the Swiss agency Creatives. However, the campaign can also be seen on social media and on public transport. In addition, the posters on buses and streetcars will feature a local touch with messages such as "Warmer than the Aare" in Olten and Solothurn or "Meer-Express" (instead of Airport-Express) in Basel. This campaign, which puts passersby in the mood for travel, was also used to inaugurate the 30 new advertising screens at Bern station.

The campaign was designed by the agency VCCP, implemented and produced by Sacred Egg and Riff Raff Films. The spot features the song "Dreams" by Cat Power. "As an airline that continues to grow, this campaign allows us to position ourselves in a more emotional way," Silvia Herrero, head of marketing for EasyJet in Switzerland, said in a statement. EasyJet has been present in Switzerland for over 20 years.
