IWC launches global campaign with Bradley Cooper

In April, IWC Schaffhausen kicks off a global omnichannel advertising campaign featuring actor Bradley Cooper. It is the first time that the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer has developed such a large-scale online and offline campaign with a single brand ambassador as the face of the brand.

The campaign, which was shot in the Californian desert outside Los Angeles, uses impressive imagery - including Bradley Cooper on a motorcycle in front of a vintage airplane. It is intended to underscore IWC's appeal to unconventional individualists who don't let hurdles stop them and instead enthusiastically take on new challenges. With the Big Pilot's Watch Edition "Le Petit Prince," the ads also feature one of the Schaffhausen manufacture's best-known watch icons.

"With this campaign, we are further developing the emotional stories around our brand. We could not have imagined a better partner than Bradley to present our high-quality mechanical timepieces like the Pilot's Watches to a growing global audience," Christoph Grainger-Herr, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen, said in a statement.

Filming for the campaign took place over several days in the Mojave Desert near Los Angeles. At the center is Bradley Cooper, who rides through the desert on his motorcycle - driven by a pure love of freedom and adventure. With the story and the images of the campaign, IWC wants to put an exclamation mark on the brand and prove that, thanks to its authenticity and uniqueness, it is attractive to open-minded, curious and adventurous people who live life to the full. The images for this were created by the Swiss Marco Grob. The New York-based photographer is famous for his portraits and other shots and has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment.
