Omnicom Media Group Switzerland introduces annual working hours model

Omnicom Media Group Switzerland now offers its employees an agile working time model that reconciles the interests of the company with those of the employees and is based on a culture of trust. Employees can organize their own working hours flexibly in the course of a flexitime model.

This is based on the legally applicable provisions and the contractually agreed terms of employment. Each employee is largely free to determine his or her own working day within a predefined time frame. The electronic recording of working hours, rest periods and absences provides employees and supervisors with an insight into the hours worked at any time. If the limits are exceeded, the employee, in agreement with the supervisor, takes measures to compensate for the hours worked.

Jens Brecht, CEO Omnicom Media Group, said in a statement: "The introduction of the flexible working hours model gives employees much more freedom in their choice of working hours and more personal responsibility. In addition, we have created a modern home office arrangement, which gives our employees additional freedom and scope to also work flexibly in terms of location. This is always provided that the work is done and accessibility is guaranteed."
