Sylvia Walker strengthens Blue Sport
Reinforcement for the Blue Sport presenter team: Sylvia Walker joins the Swiss sports broadcaster, which holds the broadcasting rights to the Credit Suisse Super League, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, among others.
Sylvia Walker previously appeared on German sports broadcaster Sky's Bundesliga coverage and hosted various soccer reports and live events. A lawyer by training, she is the mother of a 12-year-old daughter, speaks four languages and, prior to her presenting career, also worked as a background singer and model. On Blue Sport, she will report live from Swiss soccer stadiums.
"I am very much looking forward to my new job. Switzerland is a wonderful country with a great soccer culture. Interviews with sports legends like Franz Beckenbauer, Zinédine Zidane and Lothar Matthäus have made a lasting impression on me. I want to inspire viewers and transfer my passion for soccer and TV broadcasts to them," says Sylvia Walker.
Walker will make her first appearance at the end of January for the second round of the Credit Suisse Super League.
