Delphine Riand becomes deputy editor-in-chief of 20 Minutes

Delphine Riand succeeds Gilles Martin and will take over as deputy editor-in-chief of 20 Minutes on October 1, 2021.

Riand joined the newsdesk in May 2017 as a journalist for 20 Minutes active. Now, as of October 1, 2021, she will join the editorial team of 20 Minutes appointed. She will succeed Gilles Martin, who has decided to pursue a new career.

The 30-year-old holds a master's degree from the Academy of Journalism and Media at the University of Neuchâtel. In her current role as Head of Online, she says she has a comprehensive overview of the editorial activities of 20 Minutes as the company writes in a press release.

"I am very pleased that we are able to fill Gilles Martin's succession with an in-house talent," said Philippe Favre, editor-in-chief of 20 Minutes. "With her enthusiasm, energy and digital expertise, Delphine Riand will continue to drive the expansion of our digital offering."
