Dan Schaefler becomes Managing Director of the newly founded agency ASM Nexion

Due to increased demand in digital fundraising and marketing, the social marketing agency ASM is bundling its online services in the newly founded agency ASM Nexion. It is led by Dan Schaefler as business manager.

With his many years of experience in the nonprofit sector, he brings a great deal of expertise to unlock future potential with innovative digital and cross-media campaigns for nonprofit organizations, according to a statement. ASM Nexion will work closely with the ASM Agency for Social Marketing and Comconsult to develop future and goal-oriented solutions for existing as well as new clients.

Schaefler has been working in marketing for over 25 years, ten of them on the client side at Greenpeace Switzerland and now for two and a half years again on the agency side at ASM. At Greenpeace, he was responsible for setting up digital fundraising, later responsible for all public fundraising, then for the newly founded cross-media team. As deputy head of marketing, at times responsible for over 35 people, he worked hand in hand with Sibylle Spengler, who is now president of the Swissfundraising industry association. Schaefler also led the pan-European campaign to protect bees and was a core member of the global team working to protect the Arctic. At ASM, he has now been a member of the leadership team with Thomas Peter and Liliane Eggli for two and a half years.
