Simone Wyss Fedele becomes new CEO at Switzerland Global Enterprise

Simone Wyss Fedele will take over from Daniel Küng as CEO at Switzerland Global Enterprise on October 1, 2019. Simone Wyss Fedele is an expert in internationalization issues with relevant experience in business and politics.

Simone Wyss Fedele holds a doctorate in economics and is an accomplished expert on the international business environment. Ruth Metzler-Arnold, Chairman of the Board of Directors of S-GE: "Simone Wyss Fedele understands the topic of internationalization, which is central to S-GE and its customers, from an economic and political perspective." Now the Board of Directors of Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) has elected Simone Wyss Fedele as the new Chairwoman of the Executive Board.

 

Chief Economist at Novartis

Simone Wyss Fedele is currently Chief Economist at Novartis and is part of the Executive Committee of Novartis Switzerland as Head of Policy. Previously, she worked for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Helvetia Insurance and Endress+Hauser, among others. Simone Wyss Fedele studied Business & Economics at the University of Basel and obtained her doctorate in 2010 with a dissertation on international trade. Additional training took place at Oxford University, the London School of Economics and the University of St. Gallen, among others.
