With 43-year-old Thomas Morand, Ticketcorner has gained an experienced winter sports expert with a broad network. Morand has spent the last two years as Head of Sales in the OC of the Alpine World Ski Championships in St. Moritz. Prior to this, the trained ski builder was Managing Director of Uvex Switzerland for six years.

Ticketcorner CEO Andreas Angehrn said in a press release: "Ticketcorner's ski business has developed very successfully under Michael Meier. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this and are convinced that we will seamlessly continue our ambitious growth strategy with Thomas Morand." Thomas Morand will be working for Ticketcorner from August 15, which will ensure a smooth handover.

In the past two seasons, Ticketcorner has doubled the proportion of ski tickets sold digitally. The pioneer of online ski ticketing has further investments and innovations in store for the coming ski winter.

Angehrn comments: "The demands of the market require major investments in the digitalization of the ski business. State-of-the-art technologies and new services and innovations will provide many benefits for mountain railroads and skiers in the future."
