Christian Maier joins Publicitas
At the beginning of January, Publicitas was able to recruit Christian Maier as its new Print Sales Manager for the German-speaking region of Switzerland.
"Mr. Maier has an exceptional affinity for service, which will make our company even stronger in the market," said Wolfgang Schickli, Managing Director Switzerland, in a statement. As a qualified hotelier, the 40-year-old from Graubünden took over the management of the airport lounges in Zurich and Geneva after four years as managing director in Swiss hotels and developed new standards in six years together with Swiss and Swiss Port.
"I am delighted to welcome Christian as a reinforcement to the Publicitas management team and I am sure that the success of our joint work can be repeated in 2010 and 2011. Why? Because nothing is more promising than aligning the organization with market needs," says Carsten Brinkmeier, Group CFO of Publicitas.
Together with Christian Maier, Publicitas will bundle its directing activities in German-speaking Switzerland in order to make optimal use of existing human resources and to further intensify market development, the statement added.
