Vice Switzerland continues its growth course of the past months and strengthens its editorial team. Both the Vice editorial team and the Noisey editorial team are getting new leadership: Since September 1, Vanessa Sadecky has been heading the Vice editorial team, having most recently worked for both NZZ am Sonntag and NZZ Campus. Prior to that, the 25-year-old gained diverse media experience at the Huffington Post Germany and the Blick Group, among others.

She will take over the editorial and journalistic management of the Swiss Vice editorial team and, together with Head of Content Florian Sonderegger, will drive the further expansion of Vice's editorial activities in Switzerland.

Vanessa Sadecky: "With Vice, I want to do journalism that illuminates social and political blind spots. It should break taboos and push boundaries. Vice Switzerland should offer readers the relevant counterpart to the rampant copy-paste journalism: Well-researched stories that are fun to read - written by authors with courage and personality."

With Julian Riegel, the Noisey editorial team gains an experienced connoisseur of the music and club scene as editorial director. The 25-year-old worked for 20 Minuten Tilllate for five years and most recently played a leading role in the relaunch of the platform. As an editor, he has already traveled around the world and reported from festivals such as Miami Music Week and Coachella.

Julian Riegel: "I am happy to implement relevant music topics and try out new things at Noisey. Noisey will also be the first port of call in Switzerland for anyone who appreciates music and nightlife."

Florian Sonderegger, Head of Content: "Vanessa and Julian will play an important role in continuing Vice's success story in Switzerland. In the last twelve months, we have laid the foundation for this. Now it's time to build on that and continue to gain relevance. We will continue Vice's international success story in this country. There has never been a better time to take off as a youth media brand in Switzerland."
