Founded in Geneva in 2003, Neo Advertising is now one of the leading Swiss providers in the out-of-home sector and operates and markets around 12,000 digital and analog outdoor advertising spaces in German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland.With Neo Advertising's proven expertise in the outdoor advertising market on the one hand, and Tamedia's great marketing competence and extensive reach on the other, the two companies complement each other perfectly. Tamedia has acquired a majority stake in Neo Advertising

As announced, the Tamedia media group acquired a majority stake of 51 percent in Neo Advertising as of February 28, 2018. This was after the Swiss Federal Competition Commission had given its approval for the investment last September.

Neo Advertising will continue to operate with the existing 53-strong team under the leadership of CEO Christian Vaglio-Giors. He and the other founding shareholders - co-founder Alexandre de Senger and Geneva entrepreneurs Nicolas Giorgini and Philippe Moser - will also continue to hold stakes in Neo Advertising.
