The Coop newspaper appears in a new look and with more content

From Tuesday, the Coopzeitung will appear in a revised look, with more reading material and new sections. The new appearance is not only intended to look fresher, but also to offer significantly expanded editorial content.

The new look impresses with clarity, fresh fonts and new colors, according to a statement. The basic color cyan ensures uniformity and makes the newspaper calmer and clearer. The new fonts are intended to ensure better readability, elegance and a modern look.

The new sections of the Coopzeitung are intended to reflect everyday life in Switzerland: In the guidebook, experts answer questions in the areas of parenting, animals, law as well as relationships. The pinboard serves as a marketplace with tips and inspiration for the whole family.Traumziele presents places in Switzerland that are worth a trip. The new section "What does...?" provides insight into the lives of well-known personalities who have disappeared from the limelight.

A national poster campaign has also been drawing attention to the innovations since Monday. The various subjects show entertainingly staged scenes from Swiss life in which the Coop newspaper is always present as an everyday helper: with tips, recipes, advice, inspiration, useful information, and shopping ideas.

With around 3.5 million readers every week, the Coopzeitung / Coopération / Cooperazione is the print medium with the highest circulation and readership in Switzerland. Since the end of 2017, the newspaper has also been available as an e-paper, which is a historical highlight: Interested parties can find all issues of the Coopzeitung back to the first edition in 1902.
