Pro Infirmis recommends rejecting the No Billag initiative

SRF has continuously expanded its services for people with disabilities together with associations for the disabled in German, French, Italian and Romansh. For example, people with hearing and visual impairments benefit from subtitles for most TV programs during prime time, SRF's website is barrier-free, and many programs are available in sign language or as audio books.

SRF regularly produces features that address the concerns of people with disabilities in various areas of life - from public transport to reports from the everyday lives of those affected. Features that give viewers an insight into the situations of people with disabilities that would otherwise not be possible. SRF thus makes a contribution to sensitizing the public to the concerns of people with disabilities and their carers and family members, writes Pro Infirmis. (pd/hae)
