Friday special edition "30 under 30
On Friday, October 14, the special "30 under 30" issue of the people and lifestyle magazine 20 Minuten Friday will be published. In this issue, the editorial team presents thirty young and successful personalities from Switzerland who are making a difference.
The Friday special edition features well-known faces from all areas: Model Ronja Furrer, political activist Flavia Kleiner, hurdler Kariem Hussein or Vincent Dubinsky aka DJ Cruz. But new faces will also be introduced, such as model agent Esther Kinnear-Derungs, fantasy author Stefan Bachmann, up-and-coming artist STELLA and magazine editor Jeanne-Salomé Rochat. "There are many talented, courageous and determined young people from a wide variety of fields in this country. It was very important to us to also portray people who have already achieved a lot at a young age, but who are not necessarily always in the limelight," says Friday Editorial Director Kerstin Netsch.
20 Minuten Friday was able to hire Lausanne-based Jean-Vincent Simonet as the photographer for this special edition. The 25-year-old studied photography at the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL) and won the Swiss Design Award for photography last year. For Friday, Simonet traveled throughout Switzerland for several months to take portraits of the 30 chosen winners. The special edition also appears as an interactive dossier on the Friday blog.
