Wemf and Mediapulse plan joint venture

Mediapulse and Wemf are planning to set up a joint venture under the project name "Swiss Media Data Hub". The boards of directors of the two companies decided at the end of April to commit to a joint company managed on a parity basis.

According to a statement on Tuesday, they are responding to media and media usage developments and the industry's desire for comprehensive intermedia data and advertising reach. At the heart of the assignment is the development and design of an organization jointly supported by WEMF and Mediapulse for the comprehensive, cross-genre procurement, dissemination and analysis of online-based media usage data. The "Swiss Media Data Hub" project is to take on technical and organizational contours in the coming weeks and will be presented to interested industry representatives and media at an information event before the end of summer 2016.
