"Die Brocki-Profis": SRF launches junk show

In the new SRF program "Die Brocki-Profis", everything revolves around the topic of second-hand shops, second-hand items and possible rarities.

Whether genuine antiques or everyday objects that are waiting for a second use: undiscovered treasures lie dormant in many Swiss cellars, barns or attics. The three Brocki professionals Sabine Reusser, Bernhard Jost and Patrick Schaerz try to find them. The docusoap starts on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 6.15 pm on SRF 1.

The new docusoap shows the three of them searching for antiques they thought were lost, negotiating with collectors and sellers and clearing out attics and cellars with their teams. They usually have to explain to their customers that their supposed treasure is actually worth nothing. However, they also help people to correctly assess the value of their inheritance. The experts give the public tips on how to distinguish between trash and treasure, and research whether an unusually old item might actually be something valuable.
