Editor-in-chief Giovannini leaves Swissinfo.ch
Editor-in-chief Christophe Giovannini is leaving the SRG news and information platform Swissinfo.ch at the end of February. Deputy Editor-in-Chief Reto Gysi von Wartburg will take over responsibility for the time being from March 1.
The journalistic management is to be reorganized in the course of the year. Giovannini joined swissinfo.ch from the sda news agency in 2007. He was initially head of Swissinfo.ch's English-language editorial team, and from December 1, 2008, he served as editor-in-chief. In this role, he played a key role in the reorganization of the Internet platform in 2011/2012 and in the innovative editorial realignment, according to a swissinfo.ch statement on Wednesday. (SDA)
