VSM: Markus Somm to become new member
Markus Somm is to be appointed to the presidency of the Swiss Media Association (VSM). The publisher and editor-in-chief of the Basler Zeitung is to replace Filippo Leutenegger.
Leutenegger was elected to the Zurich City Council last February. This was announced by the Swiss Media Association VSM on Thursday. The Executive Committee unanimously approved the election proposal for the Annual General Meeting on September 11 in Interlaken, it added. Leutenegger will also be bid farewell at the general meeting.
The Presidium of Schweizer Medien currently consists of:
