Radio 24: Christian Jäckli new Head of Music
Christian Jäckli will take over as head of the music editorial department at Radio 24 in August 2014. He succeeds Andreas Meier, who is reorienting himself professionally after 15 years of commitment to the station.
The 32-year-old Zurich native started as music editor at Radio Energy in 2008 and has held the position of Head of Music there for more than two years. In addition to designing and developing the sound carpet for Zurich, Jäckli will also take care of the journalistic aspects of the music business. Chris Jäckli himself is excited about the new challenge: "I'm looking forward to playing a significant role in the future musical development of this storied radio station and to this new professional phase." After Marc Jäggi was recently introduced as the new Radio 24 program director (Werbewoche.ch reported), this is already the second prominent move within the Zurich radio landscape to Limmatstrasse in Kreis 5.
