The awards were presented by the Farner agency and the most important specialist congress for Swiss shopping centers on Thursday at the 12th SC Forum at the Hotel Radisson Blu Zurich Airport in front of 350 decision-makers from the Swiss retail and real estate industry.

The Victor Digital Media Award, developed in co-creation by Farner and the SC Forum, recognizes shopping centers that skilfully build bridges between digital and stationary retail through an effective online presence in communication and thus contribute to the continued success of the industry.

With a strong presence and visibility, high-quality content and a consistent brand presence across all channels, Shoppi Tivoli in Spreitenbach has established itself as the strongest digital Swiss shopping center brand. "What is particularly remarkable is how Shoppi Tivoli charges and conveys its promise 'My world, the way I like it' with emotional stories in online storytelling - one of the most important factors in creating proximity to customers," comments jury member Christoph Emch, Deputy Head of Digital Marketing & Research at Farner, on the decision.

In addition to Emch, well-known retail and innovation expert Stephan Jung and SC Forum founder Jan Tanner were also part of the expert jury. In the final evaluation, the jury analyzed the overall platform presence, brand consistency and storytelling quality of the digital presences, among other things. In the first stage of the process, Farner's digital marketing and retail industry experts evaluated the digital score of the 30 largest Swiss shopping centers and nominated ten favourites on this basis.

Glattzentrum in second place and Centre Balexert in third place also impressed in terms of both quantity and quality, demonstrating how online and bricks-and-mortar complement each other perfectly. "Only those who are open to new trends and platforms and can convey the shopping center experience far beyond the physical boundaries - whether in communication or sales - will be able to hold their own on the market in the long term," explains Stephan Jung.

"We are extremely pleased to have created a new reference for the Swiss shopping center industry with the Victor Digital Media Award. The digital transformation will continue - and how we deal with it will always be relevant for the business success of Swiss shopping centers," adds Jan Tanner.
